Sapiens International Corporation N.V. is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) - Oracle to support, coordinate, and maintain Oracle databases across our SaaS-hosted environments on AWS and Azure.

This role emphasizes cloud-native operations, automation, and security to meet availability SLAs. You will work across on-prem, AWS, and Azure, perform upgrades, tuning, backups using RMAN, and collaborate with the SaaS Cloud Operations team while mentoring colleagues and implementing best practices

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Oracle DBA experience in production environments.
• 2+ years in multi-tenant SaaS/cloud-hosted environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/IT or related field.
• Cloud-native mindset with SaaS/AI-led platforms preferred.
• “Born in the Cloud” experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle 19c+ databases across on-prem, AWS, and Azure.
• Install and configure new Oracle versions; monitor health and security.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues; on-call involvement.
• Build automation with Terraform/Ansible for scalable provisioning.
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and post-deploy support.
• Coordinate with SaaS Cloud Operations on infra and incidents.
• Apply AI tools to database workflows and share with team.
• Promote best practices for multi-tenant data isolation and compliance.
• Mentor team members and share domain expertise.
