Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Oracle/PeopleSoft Database Administrator to join our IT team. This fully remote position offers a chance to contribute to the development of Direct Access infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have significant Oracle DBA experience, expertise in performance tuning, and familiarity with cloud-based databases. The role includes responsibilities like database installation, monitoring, and managing backups while ensuring security compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with in-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture.
• Possession of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Strong expertise in performance tuning, capacity planning, and system optimization.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database software across AWS RDS environments.
• Perform proactive performance monitoring, SQL tuning, and resource optimization.
• Develop and implement robust backup strategies, including RMAN and PITR.
