Job summary
Sapiens is transforming from a Services-based model to a SaaS and AI-led platform. This role supports, coordinates, and maintains Oracle databases in AWS and Azure for a multi-tenant SaaS offering. You will install, tune, back up, secure, and migrate databases while embracing a cloud-native mindset.
We seek 4+ years of Oracle DBA experience, strong RMAN/Data Pump skills, and IaC tooling know-how. Experience with SaaS environments and insurance/finance domain is a plus; remote work available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/IT or related field.
- 4+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
- 2+ years supporting SaaS/cloud-hosted databases in multi-tenant environments.
- Born in the Cloud experience preferred for SaaS-first infra.
- 3+ years in Insurance/Financial industry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer Oracle 19c+ across multi-tenant SaaS in AWS/Azure.
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database Server; monitor health and security.
- Troubleshoot in real time; participate in on-call rotation.
- Build automation with Terraform/Ansible to provision and patch databases.
- Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
- Coordinate with Cloud Ops on capacity planning and incidents.
