Job summary

Significance Inc. seeks an experienced Oracle Database Administrator for a long-term federal program with the Department of Energy. The role is fully remote and requires a DOE Q clearance eligibility with U.S. citizenship.

You will administer Oracle Portal, WebLogic, OID/OAM, and UCM across environments from development to production, while tuning performance, ensuring security, and enabling OCI/Azure cloud integrations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience; without a degree, 6–8 years of relevant experience.
Two-thirds of experience as a DBA/middleware admin supporting Oracle OID, OAM, and SSO in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server and Fusion Middleware.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Database utilities and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Perform database administration for Oracle Portal/WebCenter and core DOE databases.
Install, patch, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Fusion Middleware products and WebLogic Server.
Design and advise on OID/OAM/SSO and UCM implementations and security policies.
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot databases using OEM and plan capacity.
Support OCI/Azure cloud databases and disaster recovery operations.
