Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a fully remote, USA-based Database Administrator to support mission-critical telecommunications contracting systems for a federal defense agency. The role centers on production Oracle administration, data design, and legacy migration for a modernization effort on a low-code platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production Oracle Database Administration on a current Oracle release.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL with working knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB.
• RMAN backups and performance tuning with AWR/ASH.
• Data migration experience including mapping and reconciliation.
• Oracle DB STIGs in a DoD RMF environment.
• Experience across at least two large-scale database projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and tune Oracle databases for production systems.
• Define security standards, manage access, and lead outages with DR operations.
• Test and deploy Oracle patches and upgrades with ISSO coordination.
• Validate security posture against ACAS/HBSS and apply IAVA patches.
• Design schemas and data models for next-gen low-code apps.
• Analyze and migrate legacy data with reconciliations.
• Maintain cross-agency change schedules via Enterprise Change Requests.
