Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior system administrator to lead production operations for a large-scale defense contract. You will administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Apache HTTP, Oracle Java, and WebLogic, while coordinating with ISSO and security teams to maintain STIG, ACAS, and IAVA compliance.

The role requires managing Appian and Oracle applications in multiple environments, patch verification, and change control, with responsibility for DoD PKI lifecycle and secure logging.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years administering RHEL in production
• 5+ years administering Oracle WebLogic Server
• Hands-on experience patching, tuning, and securing Apache HTTP and Java apps
• DISA STIG implementation, ACAS remediation, and IAVA compliance in DoD RMF
• DoD PKI and SSL/TLS certificate management
• Bash scripting for automation and Splunk/log analysis

Responsibilities

• Lead system administration across Production, Staging, and Development environments
• Administer RHEL, Apache HTTP, Oracle Java, and Oracle WebLogic
• Manage Appian, Oracle apps, WebLogic; submit change requests to CAB and DISA groups
• Test and document security patches; schedule production deployment
• Serve as ISSO alternate for STIG, ACAS, IAVA, POA&M inputs
• Manage DoD PKI lifecycle, CSRs, expirations, CRL updates, revocation
• Automate log inspection with shell scripts and Splunk; produce risk reports
• Maintain server app components within two vendor baseline releases; produce docs
• Support Authority to Operate efforts
