B&A is seeking a Database Administrator – Oracle to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Database Infrastructure Support Services. If you are interested and meet the qualifications below, we encourage you to apply for this exciting and impactful opportunity.

The position is fully remote with occasional site visits possible; base year with one option year. Expect responsibility for Oracle databases in virtual/cloud environments and for security, backup, and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive database query language experience (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, MS-SQL).
• Three years hands-on relational DBMS experience and at least two large-organization database projects.
• Experience with Oracle database administration, installation, configuration, tuning, backup and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, secure, tune and troubleshoot Oracle databases, including Oracle 19c+ in virtual/cloud environments.
• Perform backup/recovery, security management, large-scale database maintenance, integration and operational documentation.
