Job Title: Oracle DBA
Location: Remote/WFH/travel
Duration: 9 months+ contract
Description
Administer, monitor, and tune Oracle databases supporting Oracle ERP (Oracle Fusion) workloads in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring high availability, performance, and resilience.
Design, implement, and support database security frameworks, including audit triggers, logging, and reporting to meet internal and regulatory compliance requirements.
Develop and maintain OCI- and API-based integrations between Oracle ERP and surrounding systems, partnering with integration and application teams on end-to-end solutions.
Support environment provisioning, configuration, and patching activities for Oracle databases (including ATP where applicable) using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform (a plus).
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents across database, OCI, and ERP layers, performing root-cause analysis and implementing preventative improvements.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, including administration of databases supporting Oracle ERP (Oracle Fusion) and/or other large Oracle enterprise applications, ideally on Oracle Incentive Compensation Management (ICM).
Hands-on experience with OCI services and APIs (e.g., automation, monitoring, integrations) and EntraID (Azure AD) integration for authentication/SSO with Oracle or related enterprise systems.
Practical exposure to Oracle security tooling such as Oracle Data Safe (highly preferred) and experience implementing database-level auditing, triggers, and security controls.
Experience with at least one of: Oracle APEX (even limited exposure), Terraform, or other automation frameworks for provisioning and managing Oracle database/OCI resources.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, with proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues, support ATP or other managed Oracle services, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (security, infrastructure, and ERP/application teams).
