Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Security Engineer for 100% remote work in the U.S. The role covers designing, implementing, and operating security controls across OCI and hybrid environments, with emphasis on identity, access management, and incident response.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of cloud security experience, hands-on OCI skills, and familiarity with CIS benchmarks and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
• Five or more years of cloud security experience with strong hands-on OCI.
• Deep experience with OCI Identity, IAM policies, and identity federation.
• Hands-on experience with OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, and Data Safe.
• Understanding of cloud-native security frameworks and CIS benchmarks.
• Experience with vulnerability management and patching tooling.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Strong scripting (Python, Bash) and Terraform; SIEM integration experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define security architecture for OCI, Oracle Cloud Applications, and hybrid environments.
• Harden cloud workloads, manage identity and access, and lead vulnerability programs.
• Respond to security incidents and mentor junior engineers.
