Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate security controls across OCI and hybrid environments. This 100% remote US role requires strong hands-on OCI security, IAM, and vulnerability management.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to translate complex requirements into secure, scalable solutions, lead security incidents, and contribute to program governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Five or more years of cloud security experience with hands-on OCI.
• Deep experience with OCI Identity, IAM policies, and identity federation.
• Hands-on experience with OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, and Data Safe.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native security frameworks and CIS benchmarks.
• Experience with vulnerability management and patching tooling.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001 regulatory frameworks.
• Strong scripting (Python, Bash) and Terraform.
• Experience integrating cloud workloads with SIEM platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security controls across OCI and hybrid environments.
• Define security architecture and harden cloud workloads.
• Lead vulnerability management, compliance programs, and incident response.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code/design reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and operations to translate requirements into secure solutions.
