Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Oracle Security Engineer for a 100% Remote (U.S.) role. You will design, implement, and operate security controls across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Cloud Applications, and hybrid Oracle environments.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of cloud security experience with strong OCI expertise, and will lead vulnerability, compliance programs and incident response while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, CS, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of cloud security experience with hands-on OCI.
• Deep experience with OCI Identity, IAM policies, and identity federation.
• Hands-on with OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, Data Safe.
• Understanding of CIS benchmarks and cloud-native security frameworks.
• Experience with vulnerability management and patching tooling.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and Terraform.
• Experience integrating cloud workloads with SIEM.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security controls across OCI and hybrid environments.
• Define security architecture and harden cloud workloads.
• Lead vulnerability and compliance programs and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform code/design reviews.
