Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Oracle Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate security controls across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Cloud Applications, and hybrid Oracle environments. This role defines security architecture, hardens cloud workloads, and leads identity and access management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years cloud security experience with hands-on OCI.
• Deep OCI Identity, IAM and federation experience.
• Hands-on with OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, Data Safe.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native security frameworks and CIS benchmarks.
• Experience with vulnerability management and patching tooling.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and Terraform.
• Experience integrating cloud workloads with SIEM platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security controls across OCI, OCI Apps, and hybrid Oracle environments.
• Define security architecture and harden cloud workloads.
• Manage identity and access and lead vulnerability and compliance programs.
• Respond to security incidents and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into secure solutions.
