Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer - Oracle to design, implement, and operate security controls across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and hybrid environments.

You will lead vulnerability management, configure OCI Guard and Vault, enforce IAM, and drive PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001 compliance. This remote U.S. role requires 6+ years of OCI security hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud security experience with strong OCI exposure.
• Deep OCI Identity, IAM, and identity federation experience.
• Hands-on with OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, Data Safe.
• Solid knowledge of CIS benchmarks and cloud security frameworks.
• Experience with vulnerability management and patching tooling.
• Familiar with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001.
• Strong Python/Bash and Terraform skills.
• Experience integrating cloud workloads with SIEM.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise security architectures for OCI tenancies.
• Configure and operate OCI Identity Domains and RBAC strategies.
• Manage OCI Vault keys, rotation, and HSM integration.
• Harden OCI compute, networking, and databases to CIS benchmarks.
• Operate OCI Cloud Guard for detection, response, and tuning.
• Configure OCI Logging and Audit; integrate with SIEM for forensics.
• Implement data security controls using OCI Data Safe.
• Lead vulnerability management, patching, and remediation tracking.
• Drive regulatory compliance with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001.
• Conduct threat modeling and architecture reviews for OCI workloads.
• Lead security incident response on OCI and post-incident reviews.
• Develop security automation with Python, Terraform, OCI CLI/SDK.
• Maintain architecture diagrams and runbooks; onboard engineers.
• Provide mentorship and security guidance across teams.
