Job summary

DRT Strategies, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Oracle APEX developer to support two enterprise property management systems used across USDA. You will design, develop and test APEX pages, prepare deployment packages, and document technical design and test results.

Remote daily work with a U.S. government project requires security clearance eligibility and strong communication. You will contribute to requirements, design, development, testing, and release planning, and collaborate with government

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, developing, testing and maintaining Oracle APEX apps and SQL/PL-SQL.
• Experience with IT applications development, testing, and documentation.
• Strong relational database design knowledge and Oracle features.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new or updated Oracle APEX pages and components from requirements.
• Develop quality code in accordance with government coding standards and design.
• Prepare technical design docs, perform unit tests, document results.
• Conduct design walkthroughs, knowledge transfers, and code reviews with government team.
• Provide LOE estimates for development including design, coding, and unit testing.
• Resolve service requests with users and prepare data update scripts.
• Recommend solutions for complex business problems or upgrades to maintain systems.
• Provide status updates and participate in requirements/design and release planning.
• Create migration packages and oversee deployment to Test and Production.
