Job summary

IKS Health is seeking a Full Time Profee & Facility Ophthalmology Medical Coder to join our remote team. You will code physician and facility ophthalmology records using ICD-10-CM, CPS, and CPT, ensuring accurate DRG assignments and real-time chart entry during shifts.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of ophthalmology coding experience, proficiency with Epic, 3M, and 360, and hold CPC/COC/CIC/CCA/CCS certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of ophthalmology coding experience.
• Experience coding Profee-PB and Facility-HB ophthalmology charts.
• Proficiency with ICD-10-CM, CPS and CPT coding principles.
• Epic with 3M, 360 experience required; pass a coding proficiency test.

Responsibilities

• Provide coding and abstracting services for physician and facility records using ICD-10-CM, CPS, and CPT.
• Assign diagnostic and procedural codes after thorough medical record review.
• Maintain knowledge of Coding Clinic, CPT Assistant, and official guidelines.
• Ensure appropriate DRG assignment and real-time chart entry during shifts.
