Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) is seeking a contracted Ophthalmology E&M coder to work remotely for clients across the United States. The role focuses on non-surgical Ophthalmology E&M coding, with hours ranging from 15 to 40 per week.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of Ophthalmology E&M coding experience, hold an active CPC/RHIA/RHIT certification, and pass TCN’s coding exam. You will access client EMRs securely and submit coded cases from a remote location.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Ophthalmology E&M coding experience.
• Active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT).
• Must reside and work in the United States.
• Pass TCN’s Ophthalmology E&M Coding Exam.

Responsibilities

• Access operation reports via remote EMR connections and return coded cases.
• Provide Ophthalmology E&M coding for multiple clients nationwide.

Job description

The Coding Network (TCN) is looking to contract with an Ophthalmology E&M coder to perform the Ophthalmology E&M coding for a number of clients throughout the country. The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to the client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

NOTE: We do not have needs for surgical Ophthalmology at the moment, our current needs are for E&M only

All applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of Ophthalmology E&M Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s Ophthalmology E&M Coding Exam
