Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) is seeking an Ophthalmology E&M coder to remotely code cases for clients nationwide. Hours range from 15 to 40 per week, with no surgical Ophthalmology required at this time. Contractors access operation reports via a remote EMR connection and return coded cases.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of Ophthalmology E&M coding experience and hold an active CPC, RHIA, or RHIT certification, and reside in the United States. A coding exam administered by TCN must be passed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Ophthalmology E&M coding experience.
• Active coding certifications CPC, RHIA or RHIT.
• US resident with ability to work remotely and pass coding exam.

Responsibilities

• Code Ophthalmology E&M cases from operation reports for clients nationwide.
• Access client EMR via remote connection and return coded cases.
• Adhere to current Ophthalmology coding guidelines and complete volume within agreed hours.

Job description

The Coding Network (TCN) is looking to contract with an Ophthalmology E&M coder to perform the Ophthalmology E&M coding for a number of clients throughout the country. The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to the client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

NOTE: We do not have needs for surgical Ophthalmology at the moment, our current needs are for E&M only

All applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of Ophthalmology E&M Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s Ophthalmology E&M Coding Exam
