Job summary

The Coding Network, LLC is seeking an Ophthalmology E&M coder to join as a remote contractor, handling coding for multiple clients nationwide. You will access operation reports through a remote EMR and return coded cases.

Hours range from 15 to 40 hours per week, with no current surgical Ophthalmology needs. Applicants must have at least 3 years of Ophthalmology E&M coding experience and hold an active CPC, RHIA, or RHIT certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Ophthalmology E&M coding experience.
• Active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT).
• Live and work in the United States of America; remote work allowed.

Responsibilities

• Code Ophthalmology E&M cases from operation reports via remote EMR access.
• Return coded cases to clients and support ongoing coding needs.

Job description

The Coding Network (TCN) is looking to contract with an Ophthalmology E&M coder to perform the Ophthalmology E&M coding for a number of clients throughout the country. The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to the client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

NOTE: We do not have needs for surgical Ophthalmology at the moment, our current needs are for E&M only

All applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of Ophthalmology E&M Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s Ophthalmology E&M Coding Exam
