Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) is seeking a contract Ophthalmology E&M coder to perform the coding for clients across the United States. The role is remote, with weekly hours ranging from 15 to 40, depending on client demand and workload.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of Ophthalmology E&M coding and hold an active CPC, RHIA, or RHIT certification. The tester will be required to pass TCN’s Ophthalmology E&M Coding Exam.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Ophthalmology E&M coding experience.
• Active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, or RHIT).
• Resident of United States; able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Code Ophthalmology E&M cases for multiple clients via remote EMR access.
• Submit coded cases and meet client turnaround times.
• Take and pass TCN’s Ophthalmology E&M Coding Exam.

Job description

The Coding Network (TCN) is looking to contract with an Ophthalmology E&M coder to perform the Ophthalmology E&M coding for a number of clients throughout the country. The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to the client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

NOTE: We do not have needs for surgical Ophthalmology at the moment, our current needs are for E&M only

All applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of Ophthalmology E&M Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s Ophthalmology E&M Coding Exam
