Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an Ophthalmology Clinical Team Lead to join our FSP team. The CTL will own clinical delivery and act as CPM within the core project team, partnering with PMs and functional leads to ensure successful trial delivery within budget and contractual requirements.

Remote work in the US or Canada is supported. The role requires strong leadership, extensive clinical research exposure, and experience overseeing budgets, timelines, and quality, with a focus on proactive problem solving

Qualifications

• University/college degree in life sciences or related field or certification; equivalent experience considered.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Take accountability for driving clinical project performance toward contracted deliverables and customer needs.
• Lead the development of clinical project strategy with the team and key stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver presentations for new business as required.
• Manage operational aspects of projects to support recruitment, vendor delivery, and monitoring strategies.
• Identify risks and apply end-to-end risk management and quality by design.
