The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Supervisory Management & Program Analyst (Operations Officer) to support the Readjustment Counseling Service. This leadership role oversees administrative, financial, human resources, and capital asset management to ensure programs run on time and within budget.

The position is location negotiable after selection and eligible for telework. Salary range is $147,945 to $192,331 per year.

Qualifications

• No educational substitution at this grade level.
• Education or degrees recognized by the U.S. Department of Education may be used to qualify for Federal employment.
• If using foreign education, provide a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and communicates strategy and vision for facilities consistent with agency plans.
• Supports the Chief Officer in operations including financial, human resources, and capital asset management to ensure activities stay within budget and timelines.
• Conducts regular meetings to discuss operational updates and issues across the nation with diverse Veteran populations.
• Implements re-engineering and system/job redesign for cost-effective service provisioning; uses measurable actions to address issues.
• Work schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm EST; telework and virtual work options may be available.
