Job summary

Recycle Depot, powered by Circular CRV Association, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee redemption operations statewide in California. The role focuses on compliant, efficient service delivery, contractor performance, and data-driven improvements.

Collaboration with RMS Sustainability is essential to align site visits, audits, and reporting. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in operations management within recycling or logistics, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of operations management experience in recycling/logistics.
• Experience managing third‑party contractors.
• Strong planning and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day redemption operations across Recycle Depot locations statewide.
• Coordinate and conduct regular meetings with redemption contractors to discuss improvements and expansion.
• Identify and onboard redemption contractors aligned with the Association’s mission.
• Ensure operations meet standards for efficiency, accessibility, and compliance.
• Monitor contractor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare ad hoc operational analyses as needed.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on redemption operations and performance.
• Travel intra-state up to 60% for site oversight and meetings.
