Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations, DOT rules, NMFC, and Tariff rules preferred.
• Strong communication skills across written and verbal modes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate and develop company employees.
• Plan daily manpower to ensure on-time, damage-free freight delivery and pickup.
• Coordinate with dispatch and dock staff to move trailers and freight.
• Monitor loading techniques at the dock to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Evaluate and reconfigure route structures based on local tendencies.
• Conduct safety meetings and facilitate quality groups.
• Analyze opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
• Assist customers with rate quotes, claims, and appointment scheduling.
• Perform administrative tasks like printing receipts, billing freight bills, and tracing shipments.
