Job summary

SIKKY MANUFACTURING is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all manufacturing operations, from planning and scheduling to inventory control and quality assurance. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate will manage production staff, collaborate with engineers and suppliers, and drive efficiency, safety, and cost targets while ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; field relates to business/operations.
• 5+ years in operations management within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Proven track record of process improvements and achieving targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity across manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and analyze production processes to identify improvements and solutions.
• Manage production schedules to meet customer demand and on-time delivery.
• Oversee inventory management to minimize waste and optimize levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers for timely material delivery.
• Lead and mentor production staff to meet targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and improvements.
• Prepare reports on production performance and recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor manufacturing costs to meet budget targets.
