Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking an Operations Analyst, Plan Loading to join the Claims and Benefits Configuration Team. The role focuses on accurate system configuration, loading data into the core system, and delivering insights from configuration data to improve workflows.

This position is fully remote for US-based candidates, with occasional travel for team meetings and events. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, Benefit Configuration, you will work with stakeholders to ensure loading

Qualifications

• 1+ years of working knowledge of health plan benefit concepts (e.g., deductibles and other forms of cost sharing).
• 1+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or Google equivalents.
• 1+ years of experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets using Excel or a similar tool to solve business problems.
• A bachelor’s degree or 4 years commensurate experience.
• Working knowledge of medical coding concepts (e.g., CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10).
• Proficiency in SQL.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed oriented work with a high level of accuracy and QA/QC adherence.
• Understand designs, builds, and configuration workflows to identify opportunities for workflow improvements.
• Load configuration data into the core system accurately and timely.
• Build SQL queries and translate analyses into communications for nontechnical audience.
• Identify data/infrastructure gaps and report deficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
