Job summary

Hive is seeking qualified heavy equipment operators to remotely supervise and operate machines across sites. You’ll operate forklifts, wheel loaders, dumpers and excavators from a Hive station, stepping in when a human is needed and operating in the cab during testing when required.

Your operating experience matters more than degrees. You’ll follow safety rules, log issues for engineering, train on new machine types, and travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience operating heavy equipment.
• Hands-on operating experience with more than one type of machine.
• Strong safety record and good judgment under pressure.
• Able to work shifts including nights and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Remotely operate forklifts, wheel loaders and other industrial machines, and supervise autonomous operations.
• Start with pre-operation checks and software briefings.
• Operate manually in the cab during testing when required.
• Log issues and provide feedback to engineers.
• Work with customer site crew to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Train and qualify on additional machine types as Hive expands.
