Job summary

Highland Solutions LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate a range of heavy machinery in an industrial setting. The role includes maintaining and troubleshooting equipment to support continuous production flows.

Responsibilities include managing reclaim piles, monitoring ash conveyors, and performing preventive maintenance. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least two years of relevant experience, with willingness to work extended hours on rotating shifts

Qualifications

• Two years of industrial heavy equipment experience.
• Must complete written and field training on loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment as required.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to work extended hours, rotating shifts, and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, Sky Tracks, forklifts, skid steers, man lifts, and scissors lifts.
• Manage and groom reclaim piles and address operational issues as needed.
• Monitor ash conveyors and oversee proper disposal of hoppers.
• Inspect and maintain fireboxes and extinguishers for production lines.
• Serve as backup loader operator during production upsets and assist with line clearance and bin replenishment.
• Identify and resolve material flow issues and keep tail rolls clean for uninterrupted operations.
• Cross-train in load-out operations, control room functions, and pellet mill floor procedures for workforce flexibility.
