Hive Autonomy is seeking an operator to remotely operate and supervise a range of industrial machines, including forklifts, wheel loaders, and excavators, from a Hive station. You will step in when human intervention is required and may operate manually in the cab during testing and deployment.

Your experience in safe machine operation and the ability to work across multiple machine types will contribute to safer, more efficient autonomous operations for our US customers.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional experience operating heavy equipment or industrial vehicles.
• Hands-on operating experience with more than one type of machine.
• Strong safety record and good judgement under pressure.
• Comfortable with computers and screens, and keen to learn new software.
• Strong situational awareness and the ability to remain focused during remote and supervised autonomous operations.
• Able to work shifts, including nights and weekends, and travel to customer sites when needed.
• A valid driver's licence and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsabilidades

• Follow site safety rules and Hive's operating procedures, and stop the machine when in doubt.
• Log issues and write clear feedback for the engineering and operations teams.
• Work alongside the customer's site crew and other operators to ensure safe, reliable and productive operations.
• Train and qualify on additional machine types as Hive expands its applications.

The role

You know how to operate heavy equipment, whether that's forklifts, wheel loaders or excavators. We'll teach you to operate and supervise machines remotely.

Hive turns industrial vehicles and heavy equipment into remotely operated and supervised‑autonomous machines. As an operator, you'll operate and supervise different types of industrial machines, including forklifts, wheel loaders, dumpers and excavators, from a Hive station at our operations. You'll step in when a machine needs a human, and operate manually in the cab during testing and deployment where required .

Your operating experience matters more than any degree. You know what safe, efficient machine operation looks like, and your feedback goes straight to the engineers building the system.

What you bring

Bonus points

• Experience in quarries, aggregates, mining, construction, ports, recycling or warehousing and logistics operations .
• Training or supervising other operators.
• Safety training such as OSHA 10 or 30 .
• Experience with remote-controlled machinery, automated equipment or autonomous industrial systems.
