Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise OpenShift platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. The candidate will leverage OpenShift, Kubernetes, Linux, automation, and CI/CD to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in container platforms, with 3+ years in OpenShift, and offers 100% remote work within the United States.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of container platform experience, including 3+ years with Red Hat OpenShift.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, and container networking.
Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Bash, Python, or Go scripting.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
Automate cluster provisioning, upgrades, and lifecycle management using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and GitOps (Argo CD).
Configure networking, storage, security, and multi-tenant OpenShift environments.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Argo CD.
Implement monitoring, logging, disaster recovery, and platform security.
Collaborate with development teams, optimize workloads, and mentor junior engineers.
