Job summary

US Neuro is seeking an EEG Technologist to perform diagnostic and long-term EEG studies across multiple settings, including in-home and remote monitoring. You will document patient histories, calibrate equipment, and apply the 10-20 electrode system, ensuring accurate data and high-quality patient care.

The role requires independent work after EEG training, adherence to HIPAA, and travel to various clinics, hospitals, and patient homes.

Qualifications

• Must have completed EEG training and be able to apply skills independently.
• Demonstrated ability to document patient data accurately and comply with HIPAA.
• Familiarity with long-term, in-clinic, in-home and remote EEG setup is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, long-term, in‑home, on‑site, inpatient, and remote EEG studies
• Obtain and document relevant patient medical history
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot EEG equipment
• Apply and remove EEG electrodes using the 10–20 system and perform impedance testing
• Conduct activation procedures (hyperventilation, photic stimulation, sleep)
• Recognize and document abnormal EEG activity for physician review
• Maintain accurate documentation of waveforms, clinical events, and patient data
• Prepare preliminary findings for interpreting physicians
• Follow HIPAA, infection control, and universal precaution standards
• Comply with company and hospital policies and procedures
• Travel between clinics, patient homes, hospitals, and remote monitoring locations
