Strategic Education, Inc SEI is seeking a part-time Assistant Faculty to support online undergraduate level CIS110, CIS261, and CIS376 programming courses. The role requires a set weekly schedule (25 hours/week) and availability from 8am to 4pm ET, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution; a terminal degree may be required depending on credentialing requirements.
• Teaching experience, including online teaching, is preferred.
• Experience teaching Python and AI software development languages is required.
• Professional experience in the field of study is preferred and may be required depending on course credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze student activity in discussions and assessments and respond per training and lead instructor input.
• Assist in managing student communications.
• Escalate unique issues to the lead instructor.
• Assist with grading and providing feedback.
• Monitor engagement and suggest approaches to increase participation.
• Provide tutoring, live sessions, or other student support as directed by the lead instructor.
• Support with student outreach and development of supplemental materials.
