Job summary

Virtual Arkansas seeks Arkansas-certified Computer Science instructors for the Core campus to teach 7-12 CS courses remotely. Instructors will deliver lessons via Canvas, assess progress, and provide feedback within a virtual environment.

Responsibilities include designing online content, maintaining communication with students and facilitators, and adhering to the Arkansas curriculum standards and online teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Science of Reading level required: Awareness.
• Minimum of a B.A. or B.S. required.
• Arkansas Teacher's License: The applicant must hold an Arkansas secondary Computer Science license for 7-12 (528 - Computer Science).
• Arkansas residency required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in a virtual environment using Canvas LMS and related tools.
• Plan, prepare, and design live online lessons and assignments.
• Maintain a professional home office and engage with students remotely.
