Job summary

Eastern Kentucky University is seeking part-time online Facilitators for the Computer Science & Information Technology department. Responsibilities include assisting faculty with INF 104 online courses, guiding students, and fostering engagement. Position supports up to 9 credit hours per semester across main and regional campuses.

A BS in CIS/MIS/Informatics or related field is required by appointment. Review is rolling; transcripts may be unofficial initially.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, Informatics, or a closely related field by the time of appointment.
• Degrees must be from regionally accredited or internationally recognized institutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with undergraduate students, faculty, and the university community.

Responsibilities

• Assist Faculty Instructors of Record with online undergraduate instruction (INF 104).
• Provide guidance and support to students, and facilitate engagement and communication.
• Support student learning in online courses and coordinate with the course Instructor.

Education

Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, Informatics, or related field

Bachelor's degree plus 18 graduate credits in CIS, MIS, Informatics, or related field
