Job summary
Grand Canyon University is seeking a full-time instructor to teach Pediatrics in the ABSN program. This remote role offers 8am–5pm AZ time, annual salary $83,000–$95,500, and benefits including a tuition-discount package.
Responsibilities include online instruction, curriculum development, student mentorship, and service on university committees. Requirements include a MSN, active RN license in AZ or a compact state, and experience teaching online in a nursing program.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree required (MSN) and CNE preferred.
- 2 years of Pediatrics RN experience in a clinical setting.
- Active RN license in AZ or a compact state.
- Experience teaching online for a nursing program.
- Evidence of professional involvement (organizations, presentations, publications).
Responsibilities
- Teach online undergraduate courses and create engaging activities.
- Deliver instruction using current pedagogy and Pediatrics trends.
- Foster an online culture of learning.
- Administer and grade exams and assignments with deadlines.
- Mentor students and provide extra sessions for success.
- Contribute to curriculum design and program improvement.
- Participate in college committees to advance the university mission.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to adjunct faculty.
