William & Mary is recruiting a pool of Adjunct Faculty (Section Leads) to oversee one or more 7.5-week asynchronous course sections in the Online MSBA and Online MBA programs. Section Leads will post announcements, manage discussions, hold weekly office hours, and provide timely feedback to students.

Under Faculty Lead supervision, Section Leads engage with students, adhere to course design and grading guidelines, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Formación

• Master's degree in business/data analytics, computer science, information systems, or closely related field.
• Significant expertise and relevant professional instructional experience in business/data analytics or related fields.
• Experience instructing adult learners in academic or corporate settings.
• Demonstrated excellence in communicating and collaborating in digital environments.
• Commitment to inclusive and supportive learning environments compatible with William & Mary standards.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain frequent and open communication with William & Mary faculty and staff.
• Complete online instructor orientation and ongoing training.
• Review course syllabus, content, activities, and assignments before term start.
• Adhere to course design, instructional and grading guidelines, and deadlines.
• Post at least two weekly announcements related to course content and activities.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
• Provide timely, personalized, substantive feedback on graded submissions.
• Grade assignments and exams within 48–72 hours per rubric.
• Monitor and participate in weekly discussion boards.
• Offer virtual office hours totaling at least one hour per week.
• Monitor student progress and notify the Faculty Lead if a student is unresponsive or at risk.
