Job summary

The Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary is recruiting adjunct faculty to lead online finance courses. Section Leads guide 7.5-week sections, post announcements, run weekly office hours, and give timely feedback in the online MBA and MS in Finance programs.

Under the Faculty Lead, you will engage students, monitor progress, and adhere to grading guidelines while potentially attending on-campus events. Prior online teaching is preferred; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s or MBA with finance focus required for online finance instruction.
• Experience communicating and engaging adult learners in digital environments.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines for online courses.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more 7.5-week asynchronous online course sections.
• Post weekly announcements and respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
• Provide timely, personalized feedback on assignments and exams.
• Attend weekly faculty coordination calls and submit final grades per policy.
