Job summary

Subject Well Inc. seeks an Onco-Companion – Patient Recruitment to support cancer patients considering clinical trial options. You will act as a bridge between patients, physicians, and trial sites, helping patients understand options and feel supported throughout the decision process.

The role emphasizes empathetic care, clear explanations of trial details, and coordination of outreach while maintaining ethical standards and patient confidentiality, all from a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) required.
• At least 3 years of oncology, clinical trials, or patient education experience.
• Fluency in German and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Remote work arrangements and professional medical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct unscripted, empathetic conversations with cancer patients about trial options.
• Explain trial purposes, processes and risks in patient-friendly language.
• Introduce relevant studies based on general criteria and patient context.
• Encourage discussions between patients and their treating physicians.
• Coordinate initial outreach between physicians and research sites.
• Maintain ethical communication and patient autonomy; ensure confidentiality.
