Job summary

CancerNavigator is a remote-first healthcare company supporting cancer patients across the United States. The Nurse Navigator role focuses on educating patients, guiding them to experts, and helping overcome barriers to care throughout their cancer journey.

We seek an oncology nurse with 3+ years of experience and a native Spanish speaker able to work Pacific hours. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $115,000 with comprehensive benefits, unlimited PTO, and periodic on-site gatherings in

Qualifications

3+ years of oncology nursing experience
Native Spanish speaker
Ability to work Pacific hours (8am-5pm PST)
Mastery of navigation and care coordination issues (registration, scheduling, insurance coordination)
Basic computer tools (Gmail, Zoom, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)

Responsibilities

Educate cancer patients and families about diagnosis and treatment options.
Coordinate with researchers and care centers to direct patients to suitable care.
Address barriers to care: registering, scheduling, records transfer, and care coordination with plans.
Provide longitudinal support throughout the patient journey, including mental health, finances, and transportation.
