Job summary

Adjuvant Behavior Health Inc. is seeking empathetic mental health professionals to join our national oncology behavioral health team in a fully remote role. You will treat cancer patients and their families, with support from a skilled clinical and operational team.

The position pays $66 per hour and starts as a 1099 contractor; after 90 days at about 25 hours/week there is an option to transition to a W2 role. Minimum 18 hours/week load will be maintained to ensure consistent patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling/psychology or related field.
• Two years of professional level experience in a counselor setting.
• Active LPC or LCSW license in Virginia required.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients individually and/or with families to support coping and behavioral change.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with SMART goals and timelines.
• Maintain and update client records and progress notes within required timelines.
• Collaborate with team to assess and adjust care plans within 2 days of care initiation.
• Refer patients to community resources or specialists as needed.

Education

Master's Degree in Counseling/Psychology

Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia
