Job summary

Pfizer is seeking an Oncology Field Medical Outcomes Director to lead medical strategy and payer engagement in a remote, field-based role. You will provide clinical and economic insights, design real-world evidence studies, and partner with HQ Medical Affairs to support formulary decisions.

You will supervise cross-functional teams, coordinate with account stakeholders, and travel up to 65% to meet customers and conferences, ensuring high-quality medical communications and patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science required.
• Experience in data analytics/HEOR activities preferred.
• Significant experience interacting with payers and other organized customers required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to travel up to 65% of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide objective and scientifically sound medical information regarding Pfizer’s Oncology medicines through pharmacoeconomic models and real-world evidence.
• Prioritize customer needs to develop Real World Evidence-based outcomes tools to improve patient care.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand payer priorities and align Oncology Medical objectives.
• Serve as Oncology Medical lead for assigned customers, developing a Medical account plan.
• Communicate complex study design and data analysis concepts to customers.
