Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of clinical projects, driving performance and ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and enforce governance standards in a matrix, global setting.

The role requires 5+ years in clinical research project management, proficiency with MS Office and project tools, and a strong capability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of clinical research project management experience in a pharmaceutical company/CRO.
• Experience managing projects in a matrix and virtual environment with international travel up to 30%.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills; ability to mentor staff within a matrix system.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive project performance toward contracted deliverables while meeting customer needs and maintaining operational excellence.
• Lead development of project strategy and ensure prioritization with stakeholders; manage scope, timelines, quality, and budget.
• Oversee budgets, resources, and change order processes; forecast revenue and control costs within the budget.
