Job summary

Fortrea seeks Ophthalmology Clinical Team Leads to join our FSP team on a remote US basis. CTLs own the clinical delivery of trials and function as the Clinical Project Manager within the core project team, partnering with the Project Manager and functional leads to ensure successful delivery within contractual and budgetary requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in clinical research/monitoring, 3+ years leading project teams, oversight of external vendors, and strong ICH/GCP knowledge.

Qualifications

• University degree in life sciences or related allied health field.
• 5+ years of clinical research/monitoring experience.
• 3+ years leading project teams in clinical studies.
• Experience overseeing external vendors (CROs, central labs, call centers).
• Knowledge of ICH Guidelines and GCP; regulatory requirements for clinical development.
• Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Own the clinical delivery of trials and act as the CPM within the core project team.
• Drive performance toward contracted deliverables while meeting client needs and budget.
• Lead development of clinical project strategy and prioritization with stakeholders.
• Manage subject recruitment, vendor delivery, and monitoring visit strategy.
• Forecast revenue and manage project costs in line with budget.
• Mentor team members and escalate risks with data-driven insights.
