Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager II responsible for clinical delivery and operational oversight of trials within the core project team. The role collaborates with project managers to deliver startup and clinical activities on time and within budget, ensuring quality, compliance and country-specific commitments.

You will oversee site activation, regulatory submissions, payments, and KPI tracking while leading remote, global teams and client communications.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of clinical research experience in pharmaceutical, CRO, or healthcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines.
• Experience with budget, start-up activities, and risk management.
• Experience leading remote, global teams and client interactions.
• Proficiency with MS Office and clinical trial systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end management of start-up and clinical activities within budget.
• Lead regulatory submissions and site contract negotiations.
• Oversee site activation, recruitment strategy, and KPI tracking.
• Ensure quality oversight of TMF, monitoring reports, and risk management.
• Support pre-award activities and training for junior staff.
