Job summary

Trulieve is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator (temporary) to manage the onboarding process and new hire experience from start to finish. You will support candidates via email, phone, and text, monitor onboarding systems, and help ensure a smooth staff ramp during growth.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in HR, familiarity with HR databases, ATS, and candidate management tools, and strong communication. Remote work is available with Tampa, FL preferences.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience within HR or a related field.
• Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate management systems.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
• Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV).

Responsibilities

• Interact with candidates daily via email, phone, and text to support onboarding.
• Monitor Zendesk and shared email inboxes.
• Follow up with new employees to evaluate onboarding and suggest improvements.
• Manage candidate data within the ATS and complete onboarding forms.
• Coordinate background checks, I-9, and fingerprinting processes.
• Prepare onboarding details, badges, tech needs, and ongoing communication.
• Produce weekly dashboards on candidate readiness in Smartsheet.
• Assess and propose program changes to improve retention and engagement.
