Join a distributed team to maintain stability, performance, and security of our server infrastructure, including bare metal, VMs, databases, and networking. You will own end-to-end automation, contribute to operational hygiene, and participate in on-call rotations.

The role emphasizes OS-level work, strong Linux skills, and proactive incident handling in a hands-on environment with a focus on reliability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a DevOps Engineer or SRE with hands-on responsibilities.
• Real, hands-on servers experience (VMs and bare metal) at OS level.
• Confident Linux skills (Ubuntu) and core Linux tooling.
• Solid networking fundamentals; able to configure iptables.
• Ansible and Git proficiency; scripting in Bash or Python.
• Production/on-call experience and incident restoration.
• Ownership mindset; meticulous about downtime costs.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily with on-premise infrastructure: bare metal and VMs; setup, maintenance, troubleshooting.
• Drive clarity in ambiguous situations by defining requirements and next steps.
• Own automation projects end-to-end from design to rollout.
• Harden and tune systems; improve operational hygiene and team practices.
• Keep platform stable, fast, and secure across servers, web servers, and databases.
• Investigate production incidents across OS/network/infrastructure; coordinate post-mortems.
• Participate in on-call rotations; respond to incidents.
• Apply AI in day-to-day troubleshooting and development tasks.
