Job summary

Ardán, Inc., A Community of Companies is seeking a seasoned title insurance professional to analyze risks, underwrite transactions, and ensure regulatory compliance across residential and select commercial deals.

The ideal candidate holds a J.D., is admitted to the Ohio Bar, and brings at least five years of Ohio real property experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills to train staff and support agents.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of Ohio real property and title insurance experience.
• Member in good standing with the Ohio Bar.
• Strong knowledge of Ohio real property law and title insurance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze title insurance risks, underwriting issues and regulatory concerns.
• Provide underwriting solutions to agents, sales teams and title examiners.
• Handle residential and limited commercial transactions underwriting.
• Present training seminars for title agents and staff (online and in-person).
• Deliver outstanding customer service while making sound underwriting decisions.
• Respond to underwriting inquiries via email and phone promptly.
• Analyze and respond to indemnity requests.
• Travel with sales staff for agent visits across the state.
• Collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
