Westcor Global is seeking a seasoned title risk professional in Ohio to analyze title insurance risks, provide underwriting solutions, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws. The role covers residential and limited commercial transactions, with responsibilities including training seminars and high‑level client service.

The ideal candidate will hold a J.D., have at least 5 years of relevant experience, and be in good standing with the Ohio Bar.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Ohio real property law and the title insurance industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Relationship building and sound underwriting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze title insurance risks, underwriting issues, and regulatory concerns.
• Provide underwriting solutions to agents, sales team, and title examiners in accordance with company guidelines and law.
• Handle residential and limited commercial transactions underwriting.
• Present training seminars to educate title agents and production staff (online and in-person).
• Provide outstanding customer service while making sound underwriting decisions.
• Manage a high volume of underwriting inquiries by email and phone.
• Travel with sales staff for agent visits throughout the state.
• Collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
