Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment for the SAMS system. The role requires on-call readiness and strong collaboration with application, database, and cybersecurity teams.

Remote work is allowed within the United States, with a preference for candidates located in the Atlanta, GA area. The position demands 24x7 availability and the ability to respond to critical incidents within 15 minutes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience operating production workloads in OCI or similar IaaS cloud.
• Experience with cloud compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery.
• Infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proven Linux-based cloud administration with Ansible, Terraform.
• Experience with change, configuration, security, and operational controls in production.
• Ability to work across application, database, cybersecurity, and teams.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain SAMS infrastructure hosted in OCI.
• Administer OCI compute, storage, networking, IAM, connectivity, and related cloud services.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, utilization, and health.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, network, connectivity, access, and performance issues.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform/IaC and scripting.
• Maintain infrastructure configuration through version-controlled processes and repositories.
• Support cloud backup, recovery, replication, DR, and continuity.
• Coordinate changes and incident response with cross‑functional teams.
