Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment for the SNS program. The role is remote within the United States, with a preference for candidates near Atlanta, GA, and requires on-call readiness.

Responsibilities include operating SAMS in OCI, automating with Terraform and Ansible, and coordinating with multiple teams to maintain availability and security under FedRAMP/FISMA requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience operating production workloads in OCI or a comparable enterprise IaaS cloud environment.
• Experience with cloud compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring, capacity, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and IaC.
• Proven ability to automate deployment with Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and performance issues.
• Ability to obtain required clearances and meet SNS 24x7 on-call/15-minute response.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain SAMS infrastructure hosted in OCI.
• Administer OCI compute, storage, networking, IAM, connectivity, and related cloud services.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, utilization, and health.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, network, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform/IaC, scripting, and approved tools.
• Maintain infrastructure configuration through version-controlled processes and government-approved repositories.
• Support cloud backup, recovery, replication, disaster recovery, and continuity capabilities.
• Coordinate infrastructure changes, releases, maintenance, and incident response with cross‑government teams.
