Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to lead design, implementation, and governance of OCI infrastructure in a multi-cloud government environment serving 70+ tenants. You will be the technical authority for OCI workloads, translating mission requirements into secure, scalable cloud architectures, while ensuring FedRAMP and FISMA compliance.

This remote role supports work within the United States with Eastern hours and offers mentorship and opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years professional experience or equivalent.
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain DHS Public Trust clearance.
5+ years of cloud engineering or architecture with demonstrated depth in OCI.
Proven experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure in large-scale government environments.
Deep expertise with OCI core services including Compute, Storage, VCN, OKE, IAM.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain OCI reference architectures for compute, networking, storage, databases, and identity management.
Lead onboarding patterns, compartment hierarchies, and resource isolation strategies within OCI.
Evaluate OCI services and design patterns to meet FedRAMP/FISMA compliance.
Define and enforce architectural standards, naming conventions, and tagging across OCI.
